providing free physician services and Health District programs
to township residents.

Residents need to obtain a Stickney Township identification card to obtain services.
Please contact any of the offices or stop by during our business hours (South
and North Clinics, 8:30a.m. to 4:00p.m. or Central Clinic 8:30 to Noon, Monday
through Friday).
A number of other health services are also available including: pregnancy testing,
well baby clinics and immunizations, communicable disease investigations and
follow-up, home health care school nursing services, vision and hearing screenings,
blood pressure and cholesterol screenings, diabetes screenings and school physicals.

Mission Statement
The Stickney Public Health District, Behavioral Health Division serves to meet the outpatient mental health needs of the residents of Stickney Township. It strives to be consumer-focused in service delivery and has a primary goal of meeting the needs of adults with serious / chronic mental illness and persons who lack the financial resources to pursue care through private pratictioners.
The Behavioral Health Division also serves as a resource for the community in the areas of public education, referral and advocacy and strives to provide all its services in a cost-effective manner.

Philosophy
The Stickney Public Health District, Behavioral Health Division is a person-centered mental health treatment service and works to both reduce the symptoms of mental illness and return the individual to a positive level of functioning. Through therapy, case management and psychiatric services the person served is involved in setting goals and choosing the best treatment for themselves. We partner with the patient in their treatment and desire for a better life.
The Behavioral Health Division is accredited and licensed as a Medicaid provider by the State of Illinois.
We accept Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and have a sliding fee scale that ensures affordable services to Stickney Township residents.

The Behavioral Health Division will be offering an anti-violence training program for parents and caregivers. This program will provide education regarding child development, risk factors for violence, and skills for effective parenting.
