Township residents may obtain eye exams and glasses at the South Building facility through the ILLINOIS EYE INSTITUTE. Optometry appointments are available to for any age resident every Thursday from 8:30 am to 4 pm. Children entering kindergarten are required to have an exam. Most major insurance is accepted including, Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield and more. (Patients are responsible for applicable private insurance co-pays.) Residents who do not have insurance may enroll in the Stickney Township Vision Plan for free.
